Pardon my howdy. I’m in Dallas this week and I just can’t help myself. Thanks to everyone who subscribed the last couple weeks. Glazed Over is almost at 100 subscribers, which is amazing and way more than I thought I’d ever have. YEEHAW!
To highlight some of my favies from this week’s list, I’ll start with the new single “All Weekend” from the band Cindy off the Tough Love label. Super chill pop that I honestly could listen to forever. I generally move at the tempo of this song, so this track (and most of their music) could be my soundtrack. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the EP!
Next up is Guiding Light’s new self-titled cassette off the Stucco label. I honestly haven’t been listening much punk/post-punk/whatever the last couple years, but something about this album is hitting the SPOT.
And finally, Jo Johnson’s “Let Go Your Fear” off the Castles In Space label. I’m a sucker for twinkly, spacey synthesizor music. Makes me feel like I’m floating, which when I’m at my most anxious/stressed, is where I want to beeeeeeeee.
