I can’t believe it’s already been a week. Time has been FLYING this week, thanks to the WFMU fundraiser (click here if ya want to donate to my show). My brain is has basically liquified thanks to the late nights, 100s of donuts, GALLONS of energy drinks/coffee and the overall the state of world/my own personal life. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANYWAY, huge list this week, thanks in part to a Bandcamp Friday that happened last week. So much amazing stuff on the list. Here’s a couple highlights, but honestly check it all out. There’s just TOO MUCH good stuff.
This album Nickolas Mohanna album RULES. I love this track ‘Night Horses’ so much. It makes me feel like I’m riding a horse (I’ve never ridden a horse) through a jungle (I've never been in a jungle) at night (I have experienced night time). LOVE IT.
This new JUU4E album of the amazing EM Records is WILD. Fuses traditional Thai sounds and hip hip. I’m obsessed. This track ‘Jnsey’ is my favorite from the album.
Nice folky, poppy single from Eddie Marcon. Totally new to me and I don’t know anything about them. Very sweet and I LOVE IT.
Coooooooooool keyboardy, downbeat, poppy single from IE. Really chiiiiill. VERY into. LOVE IT.
