Music finds from the last week
Well, well, WELL
People actually subscribed to this thing! I was hoping for like, five to ten subscribers but we’re almost at sixty. Mama Mia! A couple of you even did the paid option, which is super cool and very much appreciated. 🍩s for all of you!
I wanted to highlight a couple things from the list this week. FIRSTLY, Ichiko Aoba & Pomme’s duet of “Seabed Eden” is truly wonderful. Their voices sound so beautiful together when they sing in unison. When they eventually split off into harmonies, I thought my heart was going to fly out of my mouth (in a good way). Also, I wish every piano sounded like this.
Also loved Oval Angle’s “Figures of Speech” album off the Moon Glyph label. Really fun, upbeat synth music. I listened to it while I was moving thousands of CDs down to the basement at work, and I feel liked it actually helped. It kind of made me feel like a robot, which is great for physical labor!
